AlumLive is a technology and advisory firm that partners with universities to create value for alumni and students. Our platform sits between your university's alumni affairs, career services, and student services to create synergy and unlock value previously untapped. We work with universities to improve their alumni outreach strategies, better utilize technology, and improve student outcomes. 

In 2018, the AlumLive founders had a vision. They wanted to create a platform that would help universities create value for and get value from alumni. They looked at their careers and realized that during their undergraduate days, they had no real understanding of the careers that they have now come to love. In fact, they hadn’t even known such careers existed. After talking to a number of friends in various professions, they concluded that their experience was not anomalous, but rather, it was quite common. Many friends and classmates, who were in the middle of very successful careers, admitted to not having a good understanding, while in college, of the various career paths available to them or how to navigate the process to maximize their chances of landed the right job. Many found their careers through good fortune and connections that the average student often doesn’t have.

Simultaneously, the founders were hearing more and more of their friends complain about not feeling connected to the university or to the alumni network in a meaningful way. As they discovered, many alumni were simply unaware of the amazing things other alum were doing, often times in their same industry or city.

Combining these two insights, they dreamed of a platform that highlighted successful alum, while making them available to current students in a way that makes use of modern communication paradigms and benefits both alumni and current students. From that dream, AlumLive was born.
